Working together, with a shared purpose.
UNIDAD works with public agencies, nonprofits, educators, faith communities, service providers and community organizations to expand access to resources and opportunities for older adults. Our goal is to complement—not duplicate—existing services while addressing the needs of our community.
Public partnerships
The North Beach Senior Center is a City-owned facility operated by UNIDAD through an agreement with the City of Miami Beach.
Learning & services
We partner with educational institutions and service providers to offer programs, resources and referrals that support the well-being and independence of older adults.
Community collaboration
We work with local organizations, faith communities and neighborhood groups to connect seniors with services and create new opportunities in our community.
Community Partners
The North Beach Senior Center at UNIDAD works to actively ensure participation of seniors from Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Areas (NRSAs). We collaborate with local churches, synagogues and community organizations to share our facility and develop programs that fill service gaps.
To date, we have contacted many agencies with whom we are currently working. As planning and service delivery progresses, we may add additional senior-serving agencies, as needed.
