UNIDAD works with the City of Miami Beach to offer field trips that help older adults stay connected and involved in the community. These outings provide opportunities to meet people, discover local places, and enjoy cultural, educational and entertainment activities beyond the center.
Explore the Community
Field trips include visits to galleries, concerts, libraries, City Commission meetings and other community events. Each outing offers a chance to learn something new, spend time with others and take part in the life of Miami Beach and the surrounding community.
UNIDAD works with local organizations and event hosts to arrange free or reduced-price participation whenever possible.

Planning & Transportation
The Center Director coordinates an annual schedule of outings and makes arrangements with participating venues and community organizations.
UNIDAD arranges transportation for field trips, with public transportation used for some outings. Senior aides, volunteers and staff also participate in the trips.

Look for trip announcements on our website and on flyers available at the North Beach Senior Center. Information is also shared through Career Center offices, community partners and outreach events.
